New Garden Club District Director

Mendo-Lake District Board of Directors are delighted to announce the installation of Cornelia Reynolds as the new Mendo-Lake Garden Club District Director. Currently president of Fort Bragg Garden Club, Cornelia also chairs Fort Bragg Bee City USA. Presided over by district Parliamentarian Peggy Martin, the installation ceremony was held at the Ukiah Garden Club Clubhouse at the summer district meeting on June 25. It brought together members from the Garden Clubs of Fort Bragg, Ukiah, Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis, and Potter Valley.

In addition to Cornelia’s installation, Secretary Ginabelle Smith, and Treasurer Bill Monlux were installed to continue in their positions for the new term. The appointed were presented with potted plants symbolic of their position, past directors were recognized, and emphasis was placed on the clubs’ commitment to building and cultivating community and celebrating the beauty of gardening together. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming our new director. We look forward to an exciting new chapter under her leadership.
