Lincoln Street Garden

Planting seeds. Welcoming pollinators. Growing strong together.

OUR INTENTION STATEMENT

This Community Garden is a place to grow, learn, and flourish by working with nature, using nature as a teacher, and by working with each other in loving kindness while holding peace and harmony as our highest attainment. … We are so lucky to be here digging in the dirt, growing things, and expressing ourselves through this means. We are grateful for all our members, … and the opportunity to GROW!

The Lincoln Street Garden is a community garden on the south side of the C.V. Starr Community Center in Fort Bragg. Members can grow their own food in in-ground beds and raised beds, including raised beds that are accessible for people with mobility challenges. The garden is fully deer-fenced and has city water, a hoop house, a tool shed, pollinator areas, and fruit trees. Parking is available in the Starr Center lot. Whether you’re an experienced grower or planting your first tomato, there’s room to dig in.

On September 9, 2019, the Fort Bragg City Council adopted a resolution designating Fort Bragg, California, as a Garden Friendly City, encouraging the Community to organize a Garden Friendly Community Committee and declaring Fort Bragg as the First Garden Friendly Community.
